Introduction
Water is a scarce and finite resource. While it is appropriate to look at Thailand's difficulties with this resource, it is also useful to look at water use in Australia.
Tasks
- Who uses water in Australia? Number the following from 1-3 to indicate who you think uses most water in Australia. Number 1 should indicate the greatest user of water.

Estimate the proportion of total water usage each is responsible for.
- How much do you and your family use? Estimate your usage for a week, or actually carry out a survey and record your findings.
