Introduction

Water is a scarce and finite resource. While it is appropriate to look at Thailand's difficulties with this resource, it is also useful to look at water use in Australia. Water Well

Tasks

  1. Who uses water in Australia? Number the following from 1-3 to indicate who you think uses most water in Australia. Number 1 should indicate the greatest user of water.

    __ Agriculture

    Estimate the proportion of total water usage each is responsible for.

  2. How much do you and your family use? Estimate your usage for a week, or actually carry out a survey and record your findings.

  3. Answer the following questions:

    • Should you be trying to reduce your water usage? Explain your reasons.
